The research in this volume has been commissioned by the PIDS under the title “The Assessment of Integrated Mechanisms for Delivering Health and Related Social Services to the Poor.” A number of case studies for health delivery in locations such as the U.P. community, Rizal and Bataan are conducted. What can be learned from the programs such as the Makapawa program and the Sudtonggan Human Development project are discussed.
